Why did you choose accounting for your career? Why ACCA?
I work in finance and always wanted to obtain a professional accountancy qualification. I’m at the stage in my life now that I have the time to study.
What field of work or study were you in before you started your ACCA exams?
I work in the Finance department for Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
Why did you choose Accountancy School?
A work colleague recommended Accountancy School to me as the lectures, course materials and support from the teaching staff are excellent.
What advice would you give to someone starting their ACCA journey?
I would advise someone starting out to use all the study resources available to them from their chosen college and ACCA. I would also advise to continuously practise the past exam questions.
What is your career goal after gaining your ACCA qualification?
My goal is to be a qualified accountant working in the Finance department in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
