Why did you choose accounting for your career? Why ACCA?
I chose accounting as it is a flexible career choice with many different fields to progress in post qualification. I chose ACCA as I liked the flexibility around exams.
What field of work or study were you in before you started your ACCA exams?
I studied a BA (H) in Accounting at Waterford Institute of Technology (now SETU).
Why did you choose Accountancy School?
Colleagues in my job had recommended Accountancy School to me.
What advice would you give to someone starting their ACCA journey?
The journey throughout is tough, but keep going and it will be worth it in the end.
What is your career goal after gaining your ACCA qualification?
I will continue in practice for a couple of years to gain additional experience post qualification.
