A trio of Meath accountancy firsts

Published date:

THREE Meath students have reason to celebrate after ranking amongst the best in Ireland, and the world, in their accountancy exams.

Robbie Marks from Ratoath achieved first in Ireland, and seventh place in the world, in both his Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) and Advanced Performance Management (APM) exams.

Dunshaughlin’s Seán Curtin finished first in Ireland, and tenth worldwide, in his performance management (PM) exam, while Navan’s Nicola Casserly finished first in Ireland, and sixth in the world, in her Advanced Financial Management (AFM) exam and first in Ireland, and ninth in the world, in her APM exam.
All three are Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) students at Dublin-based online and blended learning college, Accountancy School.

Of the worldwide 500,000 ACCA students, approximately 8,000 of whom study in Ireland, Robbie, Nicola and Seán were three of 30 Accountancy School students to finish first in Ireland. All were recognised for their achievements at a ceremony in Dublin recently.
